Remembering Alice Dunbar-Nelson: A Respectable New Orleans Activist

The Louisiana Center for the Book is hosting its first Women's History Month event: a program led by author Tara T. Green titled "Remembering Alice Dunbar-Nelson: A Respectable New Orleans Activist." Green is the author of Love, Activism, and the Respectable Life of Alice Dunbar-Nelson, which was released in January 2022 and received starred reviews from Booklist and Publisher's Weekly. The in-person program is scheduled at the State Library of Louisiana in downtown Baton Rouge at noon. The Louisiana Center for the Book in the State Library of Louisiana is the state affiliate of the Library of Congress Center for the Book.
