to
New Orleans Museum of Art 1 Collins C. Diboll Circle, New Orleans, Louisiana 70124
Canadian-American artist Robert Polidori is best known for his large-format, color photographs of architecture, interiors, and urban environments—capturing "spaces in transition" in Havana, Detroit, Beirut, Versailles, Mumbai, Amman, New Orleans, and the Chernobyl exclusion zone. Polidori spent some of his youth in New Orleans when his father took a job at the Michoud NASA plant, fostering a lifelong connection to the city that would someday, in the post-Katrina recovery, become one of his most impactful muses.
The New Orleans Museum of Art exhibition Robert Polidori: Recollections includes a broad scope of works, on loan to NOMA from a private collection. noma.org.
