Saving Treasures

There is little as devastating as losing a cherished family photograph or heirloom due to ravages inflicted by disuse, disaster, or time. So conservation experts Susie Seborg (painting and object conservationist), Jessica Hack (textile conservationist), and other noted restorers will be at the Louisiana Art & Science Museum to give advice on how best to preserve damaged items. Just bring a photograph of what you want fixed up (it's advised to leave the item itself at home), and these experts will provide one-on-one insights on repair and maintenance. 2 pm–4 pm.
