Sea Chanters

The United States Navy Band, Sea Chanters, is the official chorus of America's Navy. As part of the Navy's signature outreach programs, the band is traveling 3,000 miles to eighteen cities across the country to perform everything from traditional choral music to opera to Broadway to contemporary favorites. The group has performed for the President of the United states, the Vice President, and numerous congressional, military, and foreign dignitaries. 

As part of their 2019 tour, the group will make a stop at University Baptist Church in Baton Rouge this month. The event is free and open to the public. 7 pm. For more information, contact (225) 766-9474 or visit navyband.navy.mil/.
