Sister Act: The Musical

Your prayers for more nun-derful entertainment are answered this month, as Theatre Baton Rouge presents the regional premiere of Sister Act, the stage musical based on the fondly remembered Whoopi Goldberg movie. Sassy chanteuse Deloris witnesses a mob hit, and is placed by a zanier-than-usual FBI in a convent for her own protection and for the comic potential of bothered nuns. Hijinks and up-tempo rearrangements of hymns ensue. $30, student tickets available $19.
