The Slave Dwelling Project is a nationally-known initiative to preserve slave dwellings and bring attention to the stories of the enslaved. Founder Joe McGill will lead a talk at The Historic Natchez Foundation titled “The Education Value of Sleeping in Slave Dwellings: Mississippi Edition,” at 6 pm on April 14. A Campfire Conversation surrounding the same subject will also be led by McGill on April 15 at 6 pm. Free.
