The annual Slidell Heritage Festival returns to Heritage Park for an evening of live music, food, and arts and crafts in honor of America's birthday (and this year's a big one!). Gates open at 5 pm, with music starting at 7 pm, and be sure to stick around for fireworks after the sun goes down. $15 admission for ages thirteen and older. slidellheritagefest.org.
