"Social Media: Too Much of a Good Thing" Luncheon

The St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce is hosting its May luncheon at the Beau Chene Country Club in partnership with Covington Behavior Health, with a focus on topics of social media and mental health. Speaker Patricia Plaisance, LCSW and director of clinical services for Covington Behavioral Health will speak on the impact of social media on mental health and lead a discussion on the rise in reliance on social media in daily social interactions. Organizations that include Safe Haven, START, NAMI St. Tammany, Ochsner Health System, Youth Service Bureau, and Covington Behavioral Health will be onsite with resource materials. 11:30 am–1 pm. $55; $510 for a table of eight. sttammanychamber.org.
