Saturday is for satsumas, the sunny little citrus that grows in many backyards in the region. The inaugural Satsuma Fest of Southwest Louisiana kicks off Saturday and continues through Sunday, promising a throwback music revue, a boat parade, and a food cook-off, plus food booths, merchants, and a citrus tasting table. Kids can enjoy bounce houses and learn how to tie a tie. Boat parade begins at 10 am on Main Street in Jeanerette. (337) 276-9533.
