St. Tammany Chamber Fishing Tournament

'Tis the season. Pack your tackle boxes, folks, for the St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce's inaugural Fishing Tournament, held at The Rigolets Marina in Slidell. From the marina, anglers can access Lake Borgne, Lake Catherine, Lake Pontchartrain, as well as rigs, reefs, and bridges in the area. Food will be provided, and prizes will be given out for speckled trout, redfish, black drum, and flounder—plus there is an "open" category for whatever strange sea creatures you might draw up. $100 per person; $50 for children twelve and younger. sttammanychamber.org.
