Stephanie Huye/Alaine Dibenedetto Art Reception

Meet La Divina's featured artists Stephanie Huye and Alaine Dibenedetto at the Italian Café's art reception this month, featuring select wine, beer, and delicious dining (and, of course, gelato!)—along with live music by Dorothy LeBlanc. 

Huye's art, as she describes it, mostly consists of representational and nonrepresentational portraits. She is currently working on her "Cuban Series,"—a collective community of Cuban humans represented by their shoes—which is based on photographs and interviews conducted in Cuba. 

Alaine Dibenedetto's paintings invite viewers to "lose themselves" in the symbols, code, and secret messaging behind her subject matter.
