It might actually be possible to get your children to enjoy museums, given the right training. The LSU Museum of Art aims to provide it through a kid-sized program designed to support reading and art-making while also helping families enjoy a comfortable exploration of the museum. Local author Melissa Mahoney Wallace leads a special edition of the event in the museum gallery today, signing her coloring book, It's Great to be a Baton Rouge Kid, while the gathered children color pages from the book.
