Celebrate the bounty of sweet, sweet strawberries in South Louisiana at the height of the season with this event hosted by BREADA at the Red Stick Farmers Market. Jazzy Strawberry, the "spokesberry" for the Louisiana Strawberry Marketing Board, will make an appearance to tell kids about why local strawberries are nutritious, there will also be live music, a strawberry jam contest, and plenty of strawberry goods for sale. 8 am–noon. breada.org.
