Sugarfest Virtual Sweets Contest
As part of this year's annual (virtual) SugarFest, the West Baton Rouge Museum invites sweet extraordinaires to submit their best recipes for the annual Sweets Contest. No baking this year! All entries will be reviewed by Chef John Folse, who will select the winning dishes. As an icing on the cake, Susan Ford, publisher and editorial director of Louisiana Kitchen & Culture magazine will publish the winning recipes in the November/December Holiday edition of the magazine. The grand prize winner will be awarded the highly sought after sugar shell. Find entry forms at westbatonrougemuseum.org. All entries must be submitted by noon September 25; winners will be announced on October 3 and 4.
