Sun and Sand Festival

The sixth annual Sun & Sand: Mississippi Film & Music Festival celebrates the Magnolia State's ever-increasing presence on the silver screen. As an emerging filmmaking destination, Mississippi has much to celebrate about its role in the world of film. To do that, there'll be a filmmaking expo, a bonfire on the beach (Friday night), scores of screenings of major motion and independent films, and lots of live music at various locations. Festival venues are in Ocean Springs, Biloxi, and Gulfport, where the Cinemark screens at 15171 Crossroads Parkway will show the festival's selected "Made in Mississippi" films.
