Sweat at Swine Palace

Swine Palace brings Lynn Nottage’s Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Sweat to the LSU Studio Theatre. This powerful production follows a group of friends in the years of 2000 and 2008. Set in a bar patronized by factory workers in Reading, Pennsylvania, the friends share secrets, laughs and drinks, for many years. However, when layoffs and protests begin threatening their trust in one another, their friendship is tested as they discover themselves competing against each other to keep their job. 7:30 pm on June 22, 23, 24 & 25; 2 pm June 26.
