SWLA Pride Fest at Castaways

Southwest Louisiana is celebrating its vibrant LGBTQ+ community with three days of festivities at Castways. It all starts Friday with "The Purple Experience," celebrating music legend Prince's birthday. The fun continues Saturday with Jell-O wresting, dance performances, and live music by the Sara Russo trio band and DJ EJ—plus local organizations like nonprofits and Mardi Gras Krewes offering information, followed by a "Glow Up" Neon Party. Sunday will bring local vendors offering handmade jewelry, crafts, and pride-themed merchandise. That afternoon brings multiple drag shows, including a Drag Show Finale—of course!
