Take Me To The River: A live performance by William Bell, Bobby Rush, & Charlie Musselwhite

Take Me to the River is the live performance experience based on the award-winning film and record which brought together multiple generations of iconic Memphis and Mississippi Delta musicians. Together, they recorded a historic album and re-imagined Memphis in its heyday as an utopia of racial, gender, and generational collaboration. The live iteration of Take Me to the River is a chance to see legends William Bell, Bobby Rush, and Charlie Musselwhite―three Grammy winners on one stage!―perform classics and new collaborations, backed by all-star Memphis band. Audiences can expect to see other greats as well, including Hi-Rhythm Section, Boo Mitchel, Martin Shore, Frayser Boy, Al Kapone, and alumni of the STAX Music Academy.
