The projection screen in the classroom, the notebook page in the library, the snap shot at the crime scene, the satellite transmission into the living room, and the digitized image archive—these represent the impact of technology on modern life. Jason Kofke’s Technology Today uses the very medium he comments upon to explore the effects, dependency, and implications of technology in our current society. The installation remains on display at the St. Tammany Art Association until January 28, with a reception from 6 pm–8 pm on January 14 during Second Saturday Art Walk. sttammanyartassociation.org.
