Storm the gates of Audubon State Historic Site today and you'll get to explore the camp of a Spanish soldier while a period-clothed ranger explains about life for colonial soldiers, the revolution, and the role of St. Francisville as the first capital of the short-lived Republic of West Florida. Visitors will also see what the soldiers wore, learn about their daily lives, and watch a black powder musket demonstration. 1 pm–4 pm. (888) 677-2838.
