From the William March novel to a stage adaption penned by Maxwell Anderson and now performed by Cité des Arts, The Bad Seed is a darkly-comedic thriller, set against the American Cold War society, about a woman afraid of her own child. Rhoda Penmark seems to be the perfect little girl. But when a schoolmate is found murdered and only Rhoda can be linked to the crime, Christine must look into her own past to discover the truth about her daughter’s true nature. 7:30 pm on Friday and Saturday; 2 pm on Sunday. $20.
