The Botanical Dietary Supplements Research Center at LSU’s Pennington Biomedical Research Center presents a free community symposium: The Buzz About Native Plants: From Plants to Bees to Medicine. Learn about the role bees play in lab research and medicines and how to add medicinal native plants to your landscape, then top off the evening with free blood pressure screenings and exhibits. 5 pm-7:30 pm.
