The Deslondes

Take a New Orleans five-piece and smash it into reverberations with southern R&B and Country music. You get The Deslondes. In 2016, Deslondes member Sam Doores co-founded Mashed Potato Records with musician/producer Duff Thompson, and they began recording bands on an old reel to reel recorder in their vans and makeshift home studios—all in an effort to capture and market the spirit of the Lower Ninth Ward communities.
