The Drifters

The line-up may have changed but the guiding hand responsible for such hits as "Under the Boardwalk," "This Magic Moment," and "Save the Last Dance for Me" is back in place to bring The Drifters to the Manship Theatre this evening. The Treadwell Family was there at The Drifters' inception, with patriarch George Treadwell also discovering and managing artists of such caliber as Dinah Washington, Sarah Vaughn, and Nina Simone.
