Artificial intelligence, computer algorithms, and mechanical turks are just a few of the concepts to learn about and explore in the CAC's online workshop series: The Feminist Data Set. In the three workshops presented on Zoom, artist Caronline Sinders will discuss all of these concepts, as well as how to create a more ethical and just technological future. Together, Sinders and the audience in their homes will create a novel data set, and with that set form Feminsist AI—no robotics or computer engineering experience required, just curiosity. The workshops are open to anyone interested in participating and are intersectional, trans, and non-gender binary inclusive. This event is part of the CAC's online programming for Make America What America Must Become, An Exhibition of Gulf South Artists, on view at the CAC through January 24, 2021. oc20.cacno.org.
