New Orleans' Newest Music Venue
Mardi Gras kicks off early this year with the February grand opening of The Fillmore.
The Fillmore 6 Canal Street, City of New Orleans, Louisiana
The historic San Fransisco music venue, now a national franchise, has made it to the Crescent City. With a nod to the Big Easy tendency to fête, and to do it with music—typically blaring—in the background—The Fillmore NOLA is opening its doors just in time to catch the anticipations of the upcoming Carnival season. Celebrating its grand opening with a two night Foo Fighters extravaganza, the state-of-the-art 22,000 square foot live entertainment venue claims to be setting a standard for Southeastern United States music clubs.
In addition to an already impressive lineup for the 2019 year, the club features New Orleans architectural details, small batch liquors, local and national craft beers, curated wine selection, and an elevated full menu of local favorites.
Though tickets to the Grand Opening have been sold out, you can still reserve your spots to any of the slew of shows coming up this month, and maybe find yourself a new favorite music joint while you're at it. fillmorenola.com
