The Holocaust Survivor Story of Siggy Boraks

Today at the Ascension Parish Library in Gonzales, Mandy Perret, an English Language Arts teacher and fellow for the Institute of Holocaust Education at Tulane University, will share the remarkable story of the life and struggle of Holocaust survivor Sigmund "Siggy" Boraks (1925—2008), a long-time resident of Ne wOrleans.  His story, as presented by Ms. Perret, begins in Poland under Hitler’s reign and continues throughout his many years in New Orleans. 6:30 pm.
