The Kingfish: The Life & Times of Huey P. Long

Get to know the controversial and iconic Louisiana governor Huey P. Long in Larry L. King and Ben Z. Grant's Off-Broadway play, The Kingfish. Written by notable playwrights Larry L. King and Ben Z. Grant and directed by Penny Martin, the work has been praised by the New York Post and the Daily News. New Orleans based film and stage actor John "Spud" McConnell–who has played in popular films such as 12 Years a Slave, Because of Winn-Dixie, Miller's Crossing, and more–stars in the show as the Kingfish himself.
