The Marine Forces Reserve Concert Band will perform a a free concert with an opening reading of poetry honoring veterans by Louisiana Poet Laureate Mona Lisa Saloy. 7 pm at Jefferson Performing Arts Center in Metairie. Reservations are required at jpas.org/performance/veterans-concert or by calling (504) 885-2000.
