It should come as no surprise that The Mavericks are still doin' their own thing. The Miami-based Latin rockabilly group formed their own label in 2016 and released their first independent effort, Brand New Day, earlier this year. They'll be at the Acadiana Center for the Arts for a two-night engagement with Roddie Romero and the Hub City Allstars, as part of the Louisiana Crossroads series. 7:30 pm both nights; $56–$76. acadianacenterforthearts.org.
