The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge's Firehouse Gallery will host the works of AKM Jabed Rashel in his exhibition, titled The Pursuit of Complacence, which explores the beauty of nature through living and nonliving objects. Rashel is a native of Bangladesh and recent graduate of the Louisiana State University College of Art and Design where he received his MFA in 2014. Meet Rashel on January 20 at the exhibition's opening reception, from 6 pm–8 pm. artsbr.org.
