Third Sunday Concert Series

Now in its 35th season, the Christ Episcopal Church in Covington's annual Third Sunday Concert Series brings some of the region's greatest talents into the historic church for free community concerts each year, held on the third Sunday of each month. This year's season is as follows:
September 21: Don Vappie & Friends
October 19: Opera Festa
November 16: Sunpie Barnes and the Louisiana Sunspots
December 21: Louisiana Brass (holiday concert)
January 18: Cedric Bridges & Friends
February 15: Dr. Qifan Wu
April 19: The Pfister Sisters
May 17: River Eckert
Concerts are all followed by a wine and hors d'oeuvres reception in Holzhalb Hall for audience and performers. Doors open at 4:30 pm; music at 5 pm. (985) 892-3177. christchurchcovington.com.
