THNOC Antiques Forum: "Delight & Distraction: Material Culture of Southern Amusement"

For the annual convening of historians, authors, collectors, folklorists, antiquarians, and scholars that is the Historic New Orleans Antiques Forum, this year organizers have curated a deep dive into the world of Southern play. Through the lens of material culture, attendees will explore the pursuit of pleasure in this region, with sessions on topics ranging from board games, to thoroughbred breeding, to the circus. Besides talks and expert panels, there will also be exhibition tours, a celebratory brunch, and a champagne reception. 

This year, THNOC is offering individual day tickets ($175 for Friday or Saturday, $60 for Sunday), as well as a Young Professionals (ages 21–30) rate of half-priced single-day tickets.
