Torn Between Two Bayous: Historic Tour of Homes

The Washington Garden Club is back with the historic tour of homes. Sites such as the Demaret Home and Camelia Cove are new this year while others are returning, such as Eagle Hotel (circa 1830) and St. John's Episcopal Church, which served as a film set for the 2016 movie, Free State of Jones, starring Matthew McConaughey. The historic steamboat town offers more than just history. While you're visiting, be sure to visit the Steamboat Warehouse Restaurant for award-winning cuisine and the Old Schoolhouse Antique Mall for unique finds.
