Tradewinds Family Fishing Rodeo

Tradewinds Family Fishing Rodeo begins—when else—at daylight at Tradwinds Marina, Lodge, and Restaurant; the weigh station at Tradewinds Marina is open from 2 pm through 6 pm Saturday  from 12:00 P.M. until the end of the rodeo at 4 pm Sunday. Categories include Bullred, Redfish under 27", Drum, Drum under 27", Speckled Trout, Sea Cat, Hard Head Catfish, and Sheepshead with first, second, and third place trophies awarded in each category and a Best Overall Family trophy for the family with the most overall points. Plate lunches will be available Saturday and Sunday. Rodeo tickets are $20 per person and include a tee shirt and entry into a door prize drawing for an inshore redfishing charter with Captain Lance "Coon Pop" Schouest for up to four people.
