Livingston's local Tri–Parish Ballet again gears up to present The Nutcracker, enchanting audiences with dancing dolls, toy soldiers, waltzing flowers, and a number of new surprises. Dancers over the age of seven interested in being part of the production, which takes place December 9 and 11, can audition this month. Dancers should arrive fifteen minutes early to fill out the audition form. Girls should arrive in leotard, tights, ballet shoes, and with their hair in a bun. Boys should arrive in black shorts or pants and a solid color shirt, with ballet or jazz shoes. All dancers should know their height and weight. $10 audition fee. Here are the audition time slots: 

1 pm–1:30 pm: Boys age seven and older

1:30 pm–2:15 pm: Girls ages seven through ten

2:15 pm–3 pm: Girls ages eleven through fourteen

3 pm–4 pm: Advanced dancers  (if in pointe bring shoes)
