Statewide Baton Rouge, Louisiana
LSU's Museum of Art continues their virtual Summer Artist Talks; allowing audiences to hear insight on the creative process, artistic themes, and so much more from artists and art professionals — via Zoom, from anywhere the internet is accessible. This month's electronic talks include:
Sunday, August 2, 2-3 pm: Navigating the Art Market
Join Neal Alford of Neal Auction Company and Arthur Roger of Arthur Roger Gallery for an informative session on buying, selling, and collecting artwork hosted by LSU MOA Director Daniel Stetson. Navigating the Art Market is presented in association with Living with Art: Selections from Baton Rouge Collections, a collectors-focused exhibition currently on view at the LSU Museum of Art.
Thursday, August 6, 5:30-6:15 pm: Artist Talk with Brice Bischoff
Artist and LSU Alum Brice Bischoff will enlighten Zoom audiences on his process completing a long-exposure photograph series on Bronson Cave, a man-made cave created in 1903 which has been used to film countless movies.
Those wishing to participate in these Zoom seminars should pre-register, as space is limited. Registration is free and can be completed here: https://bit.ly/lsumoatalks
