The Council for the Developmnent of French in Louisiana (CODOFIL) celebrates fifty years (or "cinquante ans") in 2018, and the creative people its encouraged are happy to pay tribute. "Une Place à la Table" collects the work of 50 Louisiana artist and craftsmen in exhibits celebrating the French language, traditional culture, and the Louisiana environment. Three museums will play host, with different exhibits at each site:

July 6—August 25: Alexandria Museum of Art, themuseum.org

August 2—September 21: Vermilionville in Lafayette, vermilionville.org

September 6—October 29: LSU Rural Life Museum in Baton Rouge, lsu.edu/rurallife
