Virtual Creole Culture Day

We may have lost a couple of months to festivals and celebrations this year, but the heart of Cajun Country never truly rests. This year's Creole Culture Day—a day of recognizing and honoring Creole heritage—will stream via the Vermilionville's Facebook page on Facebook Live, featuring music by Corey Ledet, Leroy Thomas, and Wayne Singleton & Same Ol’ 2 Step. Herbert Wiltz will also lead sessions on exploring and learning Creole French, accompanied by presentations by poets, visual artists, and chefs.
