Photographer Terry Konrath has embraced the "Slow" cultural movement, which prioritizes slowing the pace of life to embrace quality and meaningful connections over the speed of mass production. In a new exhibition at Shreveport's Meadows Museum at Centenary College, Konrath has applied this philosophy to her 35 mm film stills documenting Louisiana's unique culture, from the courir de Mardi Gras traditions to Cajun cooking and other local art.
