Voices and Votes: Democracy in America

Secretary of State Kyle Ardoin, along with the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities, is bringing the Smithsonian’s Museum on Main Street program's exhibition Voices and Votes: Democracy in America to Louisiana’s Old State Capitol. The exhibit, which is based on American Democracy: A Great Leap of Faith currently on display at the Smithonian National Museum of American History, traces America's 250-year-old government, and the ways we continue to work towards the notion of a "more perfect union". Louisiana’s Old State Capitol is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 am–4 pm and Saturday from 9 am–3 pm. louisianaoldstatecapitol.org.
