Women's Leadership Conference

The Junior League of Baton Rouge invites area women of every age, demographic, life stage, and profession to attend its inaugural Women's Leadership Conference. Themed around the development of "the best version of yourself," the day will offer four training tracks focusing on personal and professional growth in areas of career, mental health, relationships, and finances. Along with several breakout sessions, networking breaks, and a poverty simulation training, the conference's luncheon will feature a presentation by keynote speaker Laila Ali. The daughter of Muhammad Ali, Laila is also a world class athlete, fitness and wellness expert, TV host, cooking enthusiast, founder of the Laila Ali Lifestyle Brand, and a mother of two. She is a four-time undefeated boxing world champion and is heralded as the most successful woman in the history of women's boxing. 8:30 am–5 pm at the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center. $100; $150 for VIP tickets, which grant access to a meet and greet with Leila Ali in a VIP reception after lunch. juniorleaguebr.org.
