What's a word crawl? In short, it's a pretty cool fundraiser, through which Lafayette's Festival of Words Cultural Arts Collective, Inc. invites area poets to read original works at a twelve-hour literary Word Crawl event down Jefferson Avenue, through downtown Lafayette. The literary marathon lasts from noon to midnight and winds its way through Carpe Diem Gelato-Espresso Bar, the Courtyard at Sola Violins (en français), the Lafayette Science Museum, Rêve Coffee Roasters, Dat Dog, and Cité des Arts.
