As more and more connections are being made in the realms of wellness and visual arts, take advantage of the recent trend of going yogi everywhere except (or in addition to) the studio. Museums across the region are getting on board, hosting regular yoga classes in their galleries, inviting you to settle into to your best tree pose among funky multimedia sculptures and expressionist evocations of peace.
Every Tuesday and Friday: Morning Community Yoga at the Teche Center for the Arts. 8:30 am–9:30 am. $10. artsatteche.com.
Every Saturday: Yoga in the Sculpture Garden at the New Orleans Museum of Art. 8 am–9 am. Free. noma.org.
