The punk rocker matrons of Baton Rouge's Your Mom Band will be bringing their casserole clashing singular style to three locations this May. Plus, as always, groupies can look forward to fresh baked cookies to complement the hard core thrashing these ladies bring to the stage. May 11: Your Mom Prom at Mid City Ballroom—A Mothers Day Rock n' Roll Prom featuring Loudness War and The Painted Hands. Prom attire encouraged. 8 pm.
May 19: Art Unleashed at BREC City Park—This one's for the dogs, especially the ones with art-lovin' owners. A food truck roundup and a doggy costume contest will join in with Your Mom, Ship of Fools, and The Rakers for an afternoon at the park. 2 pm.
May 25: At Intracoastal Club in Houma—A birthday party for one Stacie Neal (we don't know her either, but she seems to have great taste) draws Your Mom, Morons, Poster Child, and DJ Justin to the Intracoastal Club stage. 8 pm.
