Amy Ouchley is a naturalist, environmental educator, and author who loves to connect people to the natural world. She volunteers as the environmental education director for Friends of Black Bayou at Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge and is president-elect of Louisiana Environmental Education Association. She lives in northeast Louisiana near the bottomland hardwood forest, where she likes to paddle, wander, and explore. Her book, Swamper, Letters from a Louisiana Swamp Rabbit, was published in 2013 by LSU Press.
