A licensed professional interior designer and lover of art and architecture, Caroline Alberstadt makes her home in St. Francisville, the “Louisiana Hill Country” (a nickname she hopes will stick). Formerly of Baton Rouge, she and her husband John and three teenagers have lived in the Felicianas for the past twelve years, and many claim she is its number one fan. Her Baton Rouge firm, Alberstadt Lambert Design, has decades of experience in contract and residential interiors. She and partner Maggie Lambert keep the road hot between Baton Rouge and Natchez and all points in between. She continues to seek interesting opportunities to learn about art, architecture, and design in her beloved Bayou State and the region beyond to share with Country Roads readers.
