The historic sawmill town of Fisher attracts scores of visitors who love to “go pickin’” at its popular Ole Mill Store, a historic sawmill headquarters repurposed into a 17,000 square foot marketplace of antiques and collectibles. Meander through booths of furnishings, books, housewares, clothing, and more for interesting gems from a bygone era. Across the street at the former railroad depot, unearth even more antiques and gifts, as well as handmade artisan culinary items at the Whistle Stop Flea Market.
Historic downtown Many is home to multiple merchants worth a visit, including the flagship location of locally owned Louisiana department store, Nichols, on Elizabeth Street.
