From May through mid-August, it’s peach season. There are approximately 40 varieties of peaches produced in the Fredericksburg and Stonewall area. Visitors can sample peaches on orchard tours, at fruit stands, at farmers’ markets or can pick their own tree-ripened peaches at Jenschke Orchards.

With Fredericksburg’s German history, beer was bound to be found in town. Both Fredericksburg Brewing Company and Altstadt Brewery offer differing varieties of brews to locals and visitors alike, while also providing delicious eats.
