Ailey II World Tour

Lafayette's new performing arts advocate, UpStage, is bringing the internationally renowned Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre's Second Company, known as Ailey II, to Acadiana. The twelve member ensemble is recognized for its remarkable talent and energy, combined with the creative innovation of America's emerging choreographers.

Over the course of three days, the company will offer master classes to local dancers, a lecture demonstration, a special performance for students, and a grand performance for the public, held on February 13 at 7:30 pm.
